A client and their partner are planning to use natural family planning to prevent pregnancy. The client decides the calendar (rhythm) method would work best and monitors their menstrual cycle for 6 months prior to beginning this method. Over the 6 months menstrual cycles lasted from 29-32 days. Based on this information the client knows that if they desire to prevent pregnancy they should avoid intercourse from day dropdown to day dropdown of their cycle.
