For the first 48 hours, the client may be compelled to take prescribed medication.
The client may leave the unit whenever he or she chooses to do so.
When admitted, the client was in imminent danger to self or others and was deemed unable to provide for their needs.
The client has, through informed consent, agreed to accept treatment and participate fully in care planning.
