What is the first thing you want to do when you are beginning management of a patient with shock?

Ensure patient has an airway and is responsive.

Insert a urinary catheter to accurately monitor urine output.

Make sure you have a list of their medications.

Ensure that patient has a caregiver with them so you can get a good history.
